Day 7 - Painting the Great Dysart Gorge

Hard to believe that it was one week ago when we were scrubbing the street. We are back and the painting is shaping up nicely. This, unfortunately, over-exposed photo shows our all volunteer crew in process.

Roy Behrens brought Lola to watch us paint. Pictures is Janet and Bill Wilson, Kevin and Rita Eikamp, Mary Monroe and Carol Zeien. Not pictured is Ken Gregory.

We finished solidifying color sections, and unifying the painting by 2:00 pm. It was incredibly hot and humid and were so grateful for all who came to help. We took the tent down and packed up all of the paint except the black. Bill Wilson got the sprayer out and we started adding the black to the base and feather it up the center, giving the painting even more depth and volume.
