Day one on the C. R. Roberts Trail. The first illusion for the trail is a combination of optical and anamorphic illusions. The checkerboard is an optical illusion. The "dips" in the pavement are created by incrementally adjusting the size and shape of the squares and will be viewable from both directions. The anamorphic illusion of the box, like the
Great Dysart Gorge, will be correctly viewed from only one vantage point - while facing west.
